Chakras, the universe within us - Ed Xenia pocket - M. Albanian - G. Cell - F. Zanchi
In many (right) talk about the chakras.
Unfortunately they are also a lot of (road) to write.
And, as often happens, most of the books on the subject (I was unlucky) is nothing but a sad copy-paste from other, lighter (in the sense of well-known and understood in the sense of) texts.
This is a small booklet, apparently unpretentious, and is also one of the best books on the subject, that I have ever studied. It is complete and original is a precious light for those who, in the jungle of information available online or in bookstores, looking for a reliable map.
The authors, Marilia Albanian, an expert on Indian culture, Gabriella Cella, Yoga teacher, and Fiorenza Zanchi, gynecologist, analyze each of the chakras through a effective and clear comparison between the iconography of the Eastern and Western physiology.
The essay, in fact, precisely describes the meanings of symbolic representations of each chakra. They are then identified the correspondences between the stages of phylogenetic development (which is the evolution of life on Earth) and ontogenetic (who is the biological development the individual living being, to be clear from embryo to fetus, etc.) and the evolutionary steps from one chakra to the next (to rise in the awareness, evolution and the body, from the first, Muladhara, up).
are the positions (asanas), sound (bija mantra) and graphical representations (mandala) on which to practice their concentration, to learn about themselves through the knowledge of the elements, as the subtitle and how is seriously explained, are in the same way, our body and the rest of the universe.
With a special warning of the authors:
"E ' clear that there will be enough of simple exercises to awaken the consciousness of the chakras, which are in fact evolutionary stages in the journey towards knowledge (...) but we can change some of our deep and expand our consciousness. This is certainly possible.
not, however, is to explain, for example, "my" personal journey, because it will always be only mine, with my vision, I have gained from the road undertaken. Is impossible to explain to others our view, it would always be derived. Is impossible to explain the way those who are not ready to do it. "
So good way .. .
